Scientific notation - A number written as the product of a number between 1 and 10 and a power of ten. Any number in scientific notation = (1 X < 10)(10n)

Lesson 5 Key Points
Polynomial - An algebraic expressiion made up of one term or the sum or difference of two or more terms in the same variable.
Monomial - a term that is a number, a vaiable, or the product of a number and one or more variables.
Degree of a polynomial - Greatest power of the variable
Standard form - Arrangement of variables from left to right, from greatest to least degree of power.
Can you classify polynomials as mnoomials, binomials, trinomials, or polynomials?
Are you able to identify the degree of a polynomial?
Are you able to write a polynomial from a description?
