Polynomial - An algebraic expressiion made up of one term or the sum or difference of two or more terms in the same variable.

Monomial - a term that is a number, a vaiable, or the product of a number and one or more variables.

Degree of a polynomial - Greatest power of the variable

Standard form - Arrangement of variables from left to right, from greatest to least degree of power.
