Vocabulary Terms

Parabola - a plane curve generated by a point that moves so that its distance from a fixed point is always the same as its distance from a fixed line.

Symmetry - The exact agreement of part on opposite sides of a line.

Axis of symmetry - a perpendicular line that passes through the midpont between the roots.
