Vocabulary Terms

Conjunction - a word that connects parts of a sentence

Clause - a group of words with a subject and a verb

coordinating conjunction - a word that connects two or more equal parts of a sentence.

series - a group of more than two words, phrases, or clauses

comma - a punctuation mark (,) used to separate words, phrases, or clauses in a series.
