Lesson 5 Key Points
Simile - an indirect comparison that tells how one thing is like something else.
Metaphor - a direct comparison that says something is the same as something else
Personification - Giving human characteristics to an object or animal.
Exaggeration - A statement that makes a situation seem bigger or more serious than it is.
Alliteration - the use of two or more words together that begin with the same sound.
Your example sentences will vary once again.
