Turn to Page 25 and read the introduction to the chapter.
Turn to Page 26 and go through the Objectives in the green.
Scan Pages 26-28; focus on the blue boxes, which contain the key vocabulary terms. Look at the pictures and read the captions.
Scan Pages 26-28; read the interesting facts in the blue and red boxes.
Read Pages 26-27 (take notes of important ideas)
Do you know the answers to the questions on page 28? (See Key Concepts for help)
Do you know the vocabulary words? (See Key Concepts for help)
Take the quiz on Chapter 2 Lesson 1 "Living and Nonliving Things" (You may use the book, notes and Key Conceptss for help on the quizzes. NOT ON TESTS!)
Review answers on the quiz and print it out. This will be very useful for studying for the test.
Find five different pictures in magazines or newspapers.
Follow the procedure on page 29 of your text book.
Go to the quiz for Investigaiton 2 and complete it.

Take the Chapter 2 Test "Organizing Living Things"
Review the answers then print the results for your records.
