Turn to Page 41 and read the introduction to the chapter.
Turn to Page 42 and go through the Objectives in the green.
Scan Pages 42-47; focus on the blue boxes, which contain the key vocabulary terms. Look at the pictures and read the captions.
Scan Pages 42-47; read the interesting facts in the blue and red boxes.
Read Pages 42-47 (take notes of important ideas)
Do you know the answers to the questions on page 48? (See Key Points for help)
Do you know the vocabulary words? (See Key Points for help)
Take the quiz on Chapter 3 Lesson 1 "How Biologist Classify Animals" (You may use the book, notes and Key Pointss for help on the quizzes. NOT ON TESTS!)
Review answers on the quiz and print it out. This will be very useful for studying for the test.
Collect 5 objects from the kitchen, 5 objects from a bedroom, and 5 objects from your study area; mix the objects up in a box.
Follow the procedure on page 49 if you can't find a partner it is possible to do this on your own but not nearly as fun.
Go to the quiz for Investigaiton 3 and complete it.
