Objective:
Anticipatory Set:* Show the introductory picture of weathering and ask how it is related to "Weathering and Erosion" Go through the goals for the chapter and then the Organize Your thoughts diagram.
Teacher Input:* See what the students know about weathering by giving them a pretest. Show seveal pictures of weathering and ask: " What type of weathering is it? (Chemical or Mechanical) What then caused the erosion in the picture, (Water, Glaciers, Wind, Gravity) Students will use this table for help:
