Vocabulary Terms

Aggression - any act that is meant to harm someone

Frustration - an unpleasant feeling that happens when goals are blocked.

Cope - deal with a problem

Withdraw - pull away.

  1. Some things that may cause frustration include: something getting in the way of a goal, not planning ahead, making mistakes in meeting goals, not having everything you need to meet a goal.
  2. Acting in an aggressive way increases frustration because it doesn't solve the problem.

Hassle - a small, annoying event or problem.

Self-esteem - the way a person feels about himself or herself.

Threat - a situation that puts a person's well-being in danger.

stress response - the body's reaction to stress.

anxiety - an unpleasant feeling like fear but without reasons that are clear.

Vocabulary Terms

Anorexia - an eating disorder in which a person chooses not to eat.

Body image - the way each person sees himself or herself.

Eating disorder - a health problem in which a person loses control over eating patterns.

Bulimia - an eating disorder in which a person eats large amounts of food and then vomits.

During the third part you feel exhausted.
