This course is designed to meet the Alaksa Interior Distance Education Curriculum, State of Alaska Performance and Content Standards, and National Education Standards. AIDE Health is a comprehensive course that covers the full range of Health broken into 7 Units: Personal Health and Family Life; Mental and Emotional Health; Nutrition; Use and Misuse of Substances; Preventing and Controlling Diseases and Disorders; Injury Prevention and Safety Promotion; Health and Society. Quizzes and tests are available on-line (graded immediately) or printed upon request. For an extra fee, tests may be sent out in a packet to a parent or a local instructor and mailed back. Study guides and lesson summaries are also available in packet form or on-line. The comprehensive check list below lists all items to be completed in the course.
