majority - more than half of a group of people or group of things.
Mayflower Compact - the agreement made by the Pilgrims that set up a form of government for their new colony
Pilgrim - a person who came to North America for religious freedom and settled in Plymouth, Massachusetts.
Settlement - A colony; a group of people who had left one place and settled in another place.
Economic - having to do with money.
Starvation - the act of dying from not hving enough food to eat.
