• Response to Intervention (RTI) Plans

    The district continues to focus on student needs in the area of Reading and Math.  If a student scores below average in Reading  the teacher will develop an intervention plan to address the student's needs.  Students progress will then be monitored with AimsWeb assessments and results will be recorded in the RTI plan until the student scores in the average or above range on the NWEA Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) assessments.  MAP assessments are given 3 times per year for grades 3 - 11.  The plan will be revisited periodically to determine if changes or revisions are necessary. A copy should be kept on site in a confidential student file and a signed copy forwarded to the Assessment Director and the Director of Curriculum & Instruction.
