Chelsea Kennon, M.E.T
Prior to YKSD, Chelsea was a classroom teacher. Chelsea taught 5th grade in Quitman, Texas, K-2 in Nulato for YKSD, and kindergarten, 4th grade, and Gifted and Talented during her time in the Fairbanks School District.
Chelsea received her Bachelor's in Communications: Professional Writing from Centenary College of Louisiana. Furthermore, Chelsea received her Master's in Educational Technology from Western Governors University. Chelsea is a certified teacher in Alaska with conditionals in Gifted and Talented.
At YKSD, Chelsea supports teachers by providing Professional Development regarding Instructional Technology, Computer Science, STEM Education, and Curriculum. In addition, Chelsea addresses the individual needs of teachers to help improve instruction within the classroom.
