Wilderness Safety & Survival Training

The Yukon-Koyukuk School District is soliciting proposals for the following:

For an itinerant Wilderness Survival  instructor with master level experience  and who has experience with school age students.  Requesting ½ day - 1 day wilderness safety and survival training for middle and high school students at 10 remote schools. 

The proposals must include the following elements.

1. An all-inclusive cost per student, including supply costs.

2. A description of the training.

3. Room and board costs.

4. Transportation costs.

Proposals will be evaluated on past vendor performance as well as capacity for continued training.

Proposals will be reviewed weekly and multiple vendors may be selected based on demand from families.
