YKSD is soliciting proposals for a Nutrition Science instructor for our school sites.

Topics to include but are not limited to:
Nutrition science and Indigenous foods, Food preservation and medicine, Beginning Herbology and wildcrafting, Traditional Healing, & Alaskan Gardening.

Requesting one or more 5-day intensive workshop(s) to be offered at 1 up to 10 of our remote schools providing instruction about basic nutrition science.

The proposals must include the following elements.
A. An all-inclusive cost per student, including supply costs
B. Description of the training
C. A minimum of five days of training
D. Room and board costs
E. Transportation costs
